PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE

 

Teachers are able to make learning engaging and valued. Focusing on the action or process of teaching  through

effective teaching strategies and sophisticated communication techniques as well as creating inclusive and challenging

learning environments. Fundamental to this domain is the capacity of teachers to establish a climate where learning is valued

and fostered.

 

 

Three Professional Standards fall under this Domain. these being:

Standard 3. Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning.

Standard 4. Create and maintain supportive and safe learning environments.

Standard 5. Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning.
